This is why we have strict quality control procedures in place, from the intake of potatoes and other raw materials through production, packaging and storage. As a customer, you can also depend on us to meet all regulatory requirements for food and feed safety.

ISO 9001 quality management
AKV has been ISO 9001 certified since 1994,
confirming our ability to deliver products and services that satisfy customer and regulatory requirements.
FSSC 22000 food safety management
AKV has been FSSC 22000 certified since 2010, acknowledging that procedures are in place to identify and control risks and hazards through the value chain.
AKV has been GMP+B2 certified since 2018, recognising that we live up to good manufacturing practice requirements for feed safety assurance.
All food ingredients are kosher and halal approved.
The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration is responsible for food safety and health from farm to fork in Denmark. They are part of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries.
In Denmark all food establishments producing food are responsible for complying with the food regulations. Unannounced inspections by the public food inspectors are carried out yearly.
